Refund policy

 

If you choose to cancel your online purchase, you may do so by contacting us at info@spec-rc.com. Cancelations will only be honored if the request was made the same day that the transaction was placed. All online orders get processed the following day, once the order reaches that stage we can no longer cancel your order. Once the order has been canceled on our end, we will submit your refund request through Shopify the following business day. All refunds will be processed through Shopify, that process does take up to 10 business days. ALL CANCELLATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO A 25% PROCESSING FEE.

Some SPEC-RC manufactured components are CUSTOM MADE and offered in limited quantities, therefore we have a NO RETURN/NO REFUND policy. All sales made on LIMITED EDITION/CUSTOM MADE COMPONENTS ARE DEEMED FINAL SALES. We do stand behind our product & assure the highest of quality in every item we manufacture and ship out. We do offer a 30 day warranty against any manufacturing defects. This 30 day warranty ONLY applies to the original customer. We will not honor any request from product that has either been sold afterwards to a separate entity, or is past the 30 day window. After receiving your item you must contact us, provide us with your original order #, and to explain the defects via email in order to receive an RMA#.

DISCLAIMER: When installing hardware on any of our components, you must hand tighten them onlyDO NOT USE POWERTOOLS!!! Using power tools will cause damage to threads and will VOID ANY WARRANTY. All threads go through a thorough inspection process using a calibrated GO/NO-GO thread gage to determine proper manufacturing has been achieved. We will use the same thread gage to determine any manufacturing defects.


To be eligible for an exchange or any warranty inquiries, your item must be in the original condition that you received it, UNUSED, and in its original packaging. You MUST be the original purchasing customer and will need to provide proof of purchase. 


To start the warranty exchange process, you can contact us at info@spec-rc.com. If your exchange is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting an exchange will not be accepted. Once we receive your items, we will evaluate the manufacturing defect and determine whether or not your item qualifies as defective from the manufacturing process. If your purchased item is deemed defective, we will send out an IDENTICAL defect-free replacement item as soon as possible. If the replacement item is currently out of stock, we will move that item to the front of the production schedule in order to get you the replacement part in a timely manner.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right in a timely manner.
